Genesis10 is seeking a Software Engineer IV for a contract with our client in Eagan, MN. 100% Remote.

Job Description

Purpose of DevOps Engineer is to combine expertise in software development and IT operations to streamline and automate the process of creating, testing, and deploying software applications. This position is responsible for owning the technology solutions within their area, including proactive monitoring and alerting, technological roadmap and communication of overall health and future sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing automation tools and frameworks for continuous
    integration, delivery, and deployment.
  • Collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle.
  • Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations. Source Control management, configuration management tools, and other DevOps-related technologies.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies.
    Continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity. Drive innovation & continuous improvement. Other duties as assigned
Required Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; 5 years of experience within DevOps field; Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies, such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible. Experience with AWS. Ability to manage work direction and lead, influence, mentor, and provide feedback to others within team. Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
  • Additional Qualifications: Established presenter of technical and non-technical material adapted to the respective audience; Ability to transition abstract concepts into stable and supportable software solutions; Ability to develop unbiased options and recommendations to technical problems and unbiased comparisons; Strong problemsolving and analysis skills. Strong traits of decisiveness and judgment; Ability to drive innovation and be forward thinking; Excellent documentation skills
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)? Previous experience working an in Agile/Product Delivery model. Previous experience in PBM / health care industry. Understanding of security implications of domain. Comfortable leading and mentoring others
  • Minimum Physical Job Requirements: Ability to work a flexible schedule including
    weekends and shifts outside of client's core business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. as needed for technical support and/or project needs? Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Reporting Structure: Reports to a Manager in the Information Technology department.
Compensation

Hourly W2 pay rate $
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
